Kris Einarsson-Hoare - Physiotherapist

Kris Einarsson-Hoare

I was initially interested in Physiotherapy having played tennis, hockey and cricket for Berkshire as I was growing up and consequently having many injuries along the way - it was trips to the local Physiotherapist that got me back to playing sports again.

I graduated in 2011 from the University of Brighton with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.

Since qualifying I have worked at Ashford and St. Peters NHS Trust, Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley Health NHS Trust) and currently work at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Musculo-skeletal outpatients and Orthopaedics. I have experience in post-operative Orthopaedic surgeries, sporting injuries and general aches and pains, having treated upper limb, lower limb and spinal conditions.

I am a member of the Health Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists (ATOCP).

I believe patient education is a key part of any rehabilitation; after all, it's much easier to rehabilitate and prevent any future problems if you know what's going on yourself!
